Hi there! Very new to the emulator scene, but managed, for the most part to get my retro I’d pocket 5 up and running with few, but still some issues. Firstly, I can’t for the life of me figure out why when playing on duckstation my up and down arrows on the d-pad make the scaler go up and down (as in the it’ll go from 4x up scaled to 5x upscaled). I’m not exactly sure where to look to change the inputs. And secondly after scraping for box art and pictures, some of the systems now have duplicate and sometimes triplicate files of the game. Hi Russ,

Could you make a small section on how to solve issues with bad core settings?

I did some settings in the N64 Mupen64Plus core that will crash the RetroArch app on my RP5 every time I boot up a game with that for now. There is no way to correct this, as the settings are made in the Quick Menu after booting up a game. I really don’t know what to do now.

Do you have a fix maybe? Thanks a lot have a great day!

hi I don’t know where to go get my Bios files do I just make a folder and call it that and send my Bios to that folder you kinda said that in your video and to look for them with out giving a location where to look no offense I am just lost . Do zip files work whats the difference when I got my rom’s they came in Zip files I still have them in zip files because I am not sure if they work zipped or not and on your videos that I have scene your game file aren’t in folders their just out like pdf files so when I seen that I was confused I looked it up on Google and I got mixed reviews some people said it will work zipped and that I don’t need to unzip my files and others anyway you get where I am coming from what should I do I am lost.

hi, i cant seem to get retroarch find the .DAT file, guess its not available or something?? because its also not inside the file i got from the github page to which i saved as inside the root directory of my roms folder. it sees the folder but the folder itself does not contain any DAT file. any suggestions??

*smashes head against the wall*Got an Anbernic RG556, uninstalled retroarch, re-installed (as advised) now none of the settings work in game. The analogue sticks don’t work in game and I’ve been trying for 3 days to get it back to where it was.When trying to configure controls it thinks there’s a constant mouse clicking so you rush and can just get a double control for each setting, then it wipes it on exit and you start from the beginning again.*smashes head against the wall again*

I’m desperately searching the web to find out what filetype the roms have to be. “.zip and .7z” are the dumbest answer I could possibly think of.

Hello and thanks a lot for your guide, I am also following your channel in YouTube and I must say that your content is very fresh and easy to follow. Then I want to ask you if it possible to publish a list (not a link to download) of bios from the retro arch bios pack you installed in the guide for retroid 3 with their md5 to find them by myself and start in the right way.
