Thank you for the guide, I found the flashing and adding roms bit perfect and got my brick working very quickly. One problem I have had is that portmaster games install, but whenever I try and run them from the roms section the screen goes black for a moment and then I go back to the menu.

I have double checked I have the runtimes and I have tried with the games listed in the guide but the issue persists, has anyone else had this issue?

does cloning a MinUI SD card work ?

I love this tutorial so much I bought a second brick for my brother in law and made a copy of my SD card following these instructions (formatting it to dos before copying all system and ron files over). Unfortunately it reverts to stock OS when I test the clone on my own brick. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Couldnt download the compatability version using steam console but could using depotdownloader. hope this helps.

Hey!

Looks like new versions of MinUI have combined the Brick and SmartPro folders. So, your instructions for Pico8 will not work.

You need to copy the Pico8 files to:

Emus > tg5040 > PICO.pak > PICO8_Wrapper > bin > pico8.dat and pico8_64

Instead of:

Emus > tg3040 > PICO.pak > PICO8_Wrapper > bin > pico8.dat and pico8_64

Hey Russ. Have been enjoying your stuff and waiting for my bonus to buy an RP5. One thing that will need addressed in this guide is the recent removal of Drastic. The apk is still out there but it should get linked or see if there is another DS emulator that is going to work on the Play store as well as Drastic did

Scoped storage has ruined the emulator experience on my Android TVs. I can’t get SMB or external USB working with any app. Configuring external USB on my Sony Android TV as adopted storage doesn’t fix the issues. I am not sure if some of my issues are specific to the TV flavor of Android. Google should allow people who know what they are doing to bypass the scoped storage restrictions. I’m guessing someone out there has figured out how to navigate these pitfalls but it’s surely not me.

One thing I want to do right now with GB on MinUI and can’t figure out. On my 35XXSP when I play GB I can hit L1 or R1 to cycle different color palettes but can’t figure out how to get that option on MinUI. Is it even possible?
