I recently bought an RG35XX that has a dual boot setup with GarlicOS on it already. The microSD card presents four or five volumes to my system, but only two of them work. So even in a brand-new state, my card already has irretrievable information on it. Does anyone know how to remedy the situation, and which parts of this guide are applicable to the stock dual-boot machine?

@Russ, I know the RG35XX H is a mix of all the same, and a little underbaked except for Batocera, -Your vid is great by the way. I was wondering though if for the sake of completion you would be updating this page further to incorporate the RG35xx H as a section?

Just tried following all of these instructions. It seems like I did everything according to the guide and even tried the physical disconnecting the battery. The system will not turn on with the Samsung sd card with a flashed OS but will still work with the original SD card that came with it.

I’ve never done anything like this before and the adding the extra bios is very unclear to me. how do you make a bio? or do I find them on some supposed website copy and paste?

Hello, does anyone know if the garlic OS will allow for retroachievements? I want to switch over, but the main feature that I want is the ability to use the retroachievement function on the stock OS.

Ive done everything in the guide but I cannot remove the write protection on the new partition that I created. There’s no physical lock on the card and DiskGenuis and Window’s all say it’s not read-only. Help!

Hello,
I followed the instructions above twice, and when i create / image my sdcard and plug into my RG35XX it wont power on..
if i plug the SD Card in that came with the unit it powers right up.
